Songwriting for Total Beginners – One Day Workshop with Paddy Garrigan (Guitarist in the Wierdstring Band)

If you are interested in songwriting but don't know where to begin, this is the course to get you started. Local songwriter and musician Paddy Garrigan (guitarist in the Wierdstring Band) takes you through a step-by-step process to get you writing during the workshop which includes:
- Writing Melodies
- Writing lyrics and choosing a subject
- Coming up with hooks and riffs
- Accompaniment
No previous experience is required.
The course is open to anyone with an interest in writing, no matter whether you play and instrument or not.
